GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Aug. 19, 2026 – Michelle Hendricks, director of marketing for Deckorators®, has been named a 2026 Top Women in Hardware & Building Supply honoree by HBSDealer in the Rising Stars category. The annual awards program honors women across the industry for their leadership and contributions to the field. Nominated by her peers and selected by the publication’s panel, Hendricks was recognized for her outstanding achievement, growth, and leadership.
Hendricks leads consumer and trade marketing strategy for Deckorators, the fastest-growing composite decking brand and part of UFP Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: UFPI). In her six-plus years with the brand, she has expanded its retail presence and grown the Deckorators Certified Pro program into a network of more than 1,500 certified professionals. She oversees the brand’s annual Outdoor Living Report and a PGA TOUR partnership that expanded in 2026 to include four sponsored
athletes. Hendricks also led the marketing strategy establishing Deckorators Surestone® technology as a key brand differentiator. A former educator, she takes a coaching-first approach to leadership and is a dedicated mentor to her team.

But there’s so much opportunity, creativity, and innovation in this industry,” said Hendricks. “This recognition is an honor, but what excites me most is knowing there’s still so much ahead, for our industry and for the women helping shape what’s next.”
Hendricks will be featured in the December issue of HBSDealer and celebrated at the publication’s seventh annual Top Women in Hardware & Building Supply awards gala, taking place November 2 and 3 in Chicago.
