Joel Boyer, owner of Unique Deck Builders in Highland Park, Illinois, has been building for over 30 years. In the early 2000s, Joel's customers started looking for innovative alternatives to using the standard 2" x 2" wooden balusters for their deck rail. This is when Joel believes Deckorators® "changed the industry" by offering the aluminum round black baluster. In 2016, Joel became a Deckorators Certified Pro and became Certified Elite in 2019. Becoming a Certified Pro was the perfect fit for Joel as he strives to ensure his customers have an experience that is beyond ordinary.
